Dads in Denial? Kids Returning To School!

Stop being a deadbeat dad!  Your excuse for not working ends. Your child is back in school.   You need to look for a job when the kids go back to school.  Your deadbeat excuses are tired.   These excuses don’t provide for your child.

These excuses need to cease: “You need to be close in case something happens.  You need to be available in case the school nurse calls; the child has a diagnosis.  You need to be ready to go to the school; the child is special needs.  It’s better if you stay home because you are the disciplinarian.  It’s better if you stay home because you have a better relationship with the children.  it is better that you stay hope to prevent burglaries or home invasions.   It’s better if you stay home because mom can earn more money.  It’s better if you stay home because mom has always been the breadwinner. It is better that you stay home because she makes enough to take care of everything.  It is better if you stay home because you keep the house cleaner.  It is better that you stay home because you are the better cook.  It is better that you stay home because you have a criminal history.  It is better that you stay home because no one will hire you.  It is better that you stay home because you can’t keep a job; you keep getting fired.  It is better that you stay home because you dropped out of school.  It is better that you stay home because you lack skills.  It is better that you stay home because it is cheaper than daycare. You know I’m disabled;  yet you don’t qualify for benefits.”

We know you have thousands of reasons to justify depriving your child.   How do you sleep at night?  How can you look your child in the eye?  How can you tell your child things are going to be okay.  How can you turn a deaf ear to the bill collectors?  How can you ignore the cries and sighs of the child’s mother?  How can use and not be concerned about the cost of electricity, water, air, heat?  How can lay around all day without a care in the world?

Dad, are you listening?  Your child needs more school supplies.  Your child needs more clothes and shoes.   Your child needs money for school.   Dad, do you have more than one child?  Just imagine their frustrations.   Dad, are you being honest with yourself?  Are you a role model?   YOU NEED TO STEP UP AND BE WHAT A FATHER IS SUPPOSED TO BE!   Are you mad, frustrated, angry for a reality check!   Do something!  Your excuses are lame.  I know it.  You know it.  Don’t know where to start?

Visit your workforce centers.  They help with jobs; and may have funds for training programs.   Ask family and friends for leads and referrals.  Walk the beat; submitting applications and resumes.  Go online.  There are numerous job announcements and opportunities available.  Contact the community colleges and the school districts for a GED program.  Your state education office will have contact information for GED programs.   There are nonprofit communitybased organizations provided numerous services to assist you.  Call your United Way for local agencies to help you at no fee.  These agencies help for no fee; some sliding fee scale.  They operate through grants to help you with education, training, and employment.  Some can assist with food, clothing, and utility assistance.  They welcome you.

Look around.  Look at the nation’s economy.  Listen to the news.  Maury Povich, and Steve Wilkos aren’t the only ones calling you a deadbeat dad.  Listen to the whispers at home.  Listen to the whispers.  Don’t be a deadbeat.  Success Is The Best Revenge.   STEP UP!  http://www.awesomepapersawesomeresearch.info
